Hello Readers, welcome back to my blog.

Christmas is coming; I hope we are getting ready.

With a grim curse looming over the realm and a neighboring kingdoms conspiring plans, contentions arise. Moments of danger summon evil forces, sending Sabeara into a whirlwind of adventure, captivity, and even love.
Rescued by a handsome stranger in a brown cloak, they navigate the kingdoms to bring her safely home. When her rescuer arrives betrothed to her beloved older sister weeks later, it is all she can do to erase their memories. Will Sabeara be able to defeat the curse on the Stone-Hearted race? And will she be able to forget the memories of her epic ventures with her cloaked rescuer?

Review

Sabeara is the second daughter of the king of Aveladon. She lost her mother 10 years ago and her entire family has been dealing with the loss in different ways. Her father, the king has gone into seclusion and left the ruling of his kingdom to councilmen. Her elder sister, Jasper has anxiety but despite that she has been trying to reassure the people of their kingdom. Sabeara is angry with her father for his absence and jealous that her sister gets her powers before she does.

The kingdom of Greater Aveladon is a kingdom of stone-hearted people. When people in the kingdom turn 18 they are granted powers; their heart will glow different colours, red signifies the weakest power and gold the strongest. At the party for her sister’s granting; Sabeara gets kidnapped by one of the councilmen that has betrayed her kingdom. She is brought to an enemy kingdom’s camp. She is eventually rescued by a stranger who brings her back to her kingdom after a whirlwind attraction and romance. The man who rescued her turns out to be her sister’s betrothed. Will the love they have for each other lead to betrayal or will love of the kingdom win?

I gave 4 out of 5 stars and immediately purchased the kindle version of the other 2 books in the series. I had to know what was going to happen next. I was gripped and invested in Mid and Sabeara’s love. The intensity and possibilities between the both of them was awesome. The story does drag on longer than it should, I feel like there were some unnecessary scenes that does not progress the plot or character building. But overall, I loved it.
