More stories of characters in the psy-changeling series. We’ve hear of Stephan, the arrow who isn’t an arrow and now we get to meet him. We’ve read of Dorian’s story and how his mate unlocked the DNA that allowed him to shift to his animal form. In this short story, we see a glimpse of him as a child and the hardship he went through because he couldn’t shift forms. I love the way Nalini writes characters. I‘ve said it before and I would say it again, if you want character driven stories, then she is your girl. 5 out of 5 stars for me. I mean, where else would you read of a submissive man and a dominant woman but the man is still super adorable and attractive? This novella brings me to a conclusion with psy-changeling; stay tuned for my reviews on psy-changeling trinity – the spin-off series in the New Year. It was fantastic to finish this year with my favourite author.
